Description

The Ancient Seas collections are each anchored by a spirit that has arisen from the Mediterranean seabed, bringing with them vessels and objects.

These are Asherah’s bottles. They are wheel thrown in terracotta; their surfaces are then carved, organically faceted to produce marks of the passing of time. White slip is applied in simple fluid motions. The final glazed surfaces evoke patinas produced by sun, wind and salt water.

Approx 20cm x 13cm – for use of dried flowers only, should you want to use your bottle as a vase.
