Based in London, Grace’s signature style utilises weighty clays and natural colour palettes to create pieces which almost appear to be forged out of the earth. Incredibly tactile with an elemental focus on how the materials and firing process interact to bring out the natural ore and characteristics in the clay and glaze.
Grace often makes these four-legged beasts for friends with newborns. Their ambiguous form allows them to take on an almost mythical status – appearing as horses, dogs or any other number of creatures. Hand carved out of clay they make a weighty, playful ornament.
