Painted Slab-Built Teapot by Anika Hsiung Schneider
Anika is a Minneapolis artist, who crafts mesmerising, hand painted ceramics that feature playful, childhood styles and in some cases subtle Asian influences. Fascinated by the idea of narrative art, Anika’s pieces tend to tell a story, encapsulating a memory or moment.
This large ceramic ‘teapot’ has been formed by hand using slab-building before being hand painted by Anika. The blue and white designs are a playful take on traditional Delft pottery.
*Please note this is not a functional teapot and purely decorative.
