Paloma by Mitch Mantel

Born and raised in Utah, and now based in Arizona, American artist Mitch Mantle’s striking artworks often depict surreal, dream-like scenes. Using a vibrant colour palette to build a narrative based upon Mitch’s personal relationships toying with both the certainties and ambiguities of the world around us.

We are very excited to be offering these works from Point. Born in Bangkok with Cerebral Palsy, Point Kantawat Pongsak has used his limitations of learning and controlling muscle movements to channel his focus into art, cookery and music.

Attending a private foundation for the past 10 years has allowed him to produce a variety of ink drawings, acrylic and watercolour paintings which in turn fund his tuition at the foundation.

These vibrant and joyful paintings are one-off original pieces. They’re framed in oak box frames, ready to hang.

Reflecting on her environments growing up in Cornwall and the industrial-clad route along the Thames path to her studio in Woolwich, Jessica’s work is aesthetically heavy, tough and showcases the marks of the maker. Each mark or indent in the clay ensures the feel of something that could never have been mass-produced. Contradicting the common perceptions of the materials she uses, Jessica moulds the clay into something whimsical, with an aspiration to create contemporary Celtic art that juxtaposes with our industrial and commercial reality.

Working as an artist and designer since the 1970s,

Working as an artist and designer since the 1970s, Hugh Dunford-Wood has experience working with a multitude of mediums, from paint and textiles to ceramics and jewellery design. Predominately teaching and workshop-based now, we are honoured to have got our hands on a selection of extremely limited edition pieces from his collection.

Each one of these small vessels has been hand built and hand painted by Hugh to create these truly unique and charming little pots. Use as an elevated egg cup, candle holder or pinch pot. Hugh tells us when these are gone they’re gone so we had to keep a couple for our archive! @hughdunfordwood

The amazing @among_the_pines_gallery has invited I

The amazing @among_the_pines_gallery has invited IOTA to be part of their next exhibition showcasing a series of sixteen exquisite flower paintings by Japanese artist Satoko Inada, you can view them now online via @among_the_pines_gallery website.

They will go on show @the_space_at_caro in Bruton, this coming Thursday, October 5th, from 5pm onwards, and will then be available to buy online from Oct 6th.

Alongside Satoko’s works IOTA will have a small collection of ceramic lamps, cups and tiles by Georgian studio Ori, and of course some ceramic fruits by Paul Molloy.

Hi everyone, Lucy here. I just wanted to give you all a quick update as I have not posted on here in a while and my website is looking very empty. I promise this will all change very soon. I have been gathering and commissioning so many wonderful things for you all and we will be photographing and uploading them onto the website towards the end of the month, I promise. Bits and bobs and works of art for everyone!

Ps I have also moved to a lovely little studio in Camberwell and I will be running open studio days in the lead up to Christmas too. More on that soon! Thank you for supporting the IOTA journey so far 🙏❤️

The lasted series of Imagined People is now availa

The lasted series of Imagined People is now available from Calcutta based brother and sister duo Ranga J.

Amitjyoti and Jyotirmoyee Barman explain that these portraits begin as envisioned creations. However, as the artistic process unfolds, the subjects take on a striking resemblance to the people the artists know. The portraits have the potential to evoke recognition in others, as they too might see someone they know within the portrait.

These ones are available unframed but with an option to frame in anyway you might like. Just DM us or email lucy@iotaedit.com or arrange. If you would like to see them in person they will be at the pop up in Islington tomorrow and all weekend with Martha.
