Kirsty Lackie, a Glasgow-based artist and graduate of The Glasgow School of Art’s BA (Hons) Communication Design program in 2018, has developed a distinct painting practice in her playful and expressive works. For IOTA, she has created a charming series of mixed-media paintings that serve as a delightful glimpse into her artistic approach, showcasing her knack for infusing her pieces with “mischievous charm.”

While these works are smaller than her usual large-scale projects, they retain the vibrancy and dynamism of her broader practice. Each piece is presented in a custom-crafted box frame with the artwork floating off the backboard.
